Our fit guide videos are designed to help you better understand the shape, movement and flow of each unique MonikaNimmi piece. The model featured is 5 feet 6 inches tall (approx. 168cm) and wears each design to demonstrate the general fit and drape. All garments are made using the same fabric composition as the collection available to buy, allowing you to see how each piece naturally moves on the body and to get a sense of approximate lengths and proportions before making your selection.

Nimmi (our model) is 5 feet 6 inches tall (approx. 168cm) and typically wears a UK size 12. In this video she is wearing the Cropped Blouse in MonikaNimmi size Medium and the Tulip Trouser in size Small to Medium.


Size Guide: How to Take Your Measurements
To find the perfect MonikaNimmi piece, we recommend taking your measurements carefully using a soft measuring tape. For the most accurate fit, measure over close-fitting clothing or underwear and ensure the tape sits comfortably against your body without pulling too tight.

  1. Shoulder (Across Back)
    To measure your shoulder width, place the tape from the edge of one shoulder (where your shoulder meets the top of your arm) across the back to the same point on the opposite shoulder. Keep the tape flat and straight, following the natural curve of your back.
  2. Bust
    Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape sits straight across your back and is level all the way around.
  3. Waist
    Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, typically just above your belly button and below your ribcage.
  4. Hips
    Measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually 20cm (8 inches) below your natural waistline. Stand with your feet together and keep the tape level across your bottom.
  5. Garment Length
    For dresses and tops: Measure from the top of your shoulder (where a shoulder seam would sit) vertically down to where you would like the garment to end.
    For skirts and trousers: Measure from your natural waistline (where you would normally wear your bottoms) down to the hemline or point where you would like the garment to fall.

Shipping

  • How long will my order take to arrive?
    Orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. Delivery times can vary but generally take 5-7 business days for UK orders, 7-10 days for European orders and 10-14 days for all other international orders.
  • Changing your address in case of a wrong address
    Once we have processed your order and it has been dispatched it’s not possible for you or us to change any address details.


Delivery

  • How do you know that your package has been sent?
    As soon as you have received your dispatch confirmation email with your tracking number you know that the package has left our studio on that day.
  • Where and how can you track your package?
    We ship our packages with DHL. You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link so you can track your package.
  • Can you deliver to an alternative address that is not my shipping address?
    You are able to choose an alternative delivery address when you are checking out. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes due to security issues.
  • Who pays for customs and import charges?
    All customs or import duties are charged once a package reaches the destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient/customer of the shipment. We have no control over these costs and also cannot give you any detailed information on what the costs will be as custom policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Please be aware that your package can be delayed by customs and that charges may be applied for the same reason. We are not able to supply any details on why your package has been delayed or the length of the delay. We apologise for any inconvenience in this matter.


Returns

  • What is your return/refund policy?
    We do not offer refunds on any piece. Each piece goes through a rigorous quality check process. Please refer to our size guide for fitting information. We aim to provide comprehensive information regarding each piece so please choose carefully. If you require further information prior to purchase, please do not hesitate to contact us on info@monikanimmi.com. In the unfortunate event that a piece arrives damaged, it must be reported to us via email with photographic evidence of the damage within 24 hours of signed receipt in order to be eligible for a replacement of the SAME piece. To process the refund, the garment must be returned to us first. The garment must be unworn with all tags and security ropes attached as sent. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  • How do I know that you have received my return for a replacement?
    We will always try to handle your return as fast as possible and you will receive an email when your return has been processed. We recommend to make a note of the shipping reference provided to you when sending a return to us. You are always welcome to email us to check on the status of your return.
  • How long will it take to receive my replacement garment if the original arrived damaged?
    As each garment is handmade, we are unable to provide an exact timeframe for when the replacement item will be dispatched. However, we will keep you updated throughout the process.


Products

  • Do you offer alterations or custom orders?
    No, we do not provide alteration services or custom order creations at this time. Each MonikaNimmi piece is a limited edition produced according to the original design specifications. We recommend reviewing measurements and fit guidance carefully prior to ordering.
  • How do I care for my MonikaNimmi garment?
    All garments require specialty dry cleaning only, as per the care label.
  • What materials do you use?
    We source only the finest textiles and finishes. Each garment’s specific materials are listed on its description.
  • Do you have a physical retail location?
    No, we do not currently have a standalone boutique.
  • Can I visit your studio?
    Our production studio is not open to the general public.
  • I saw a product I love and now it’s sold out. Will certain products get back in stock?
    Unfortunately, no. Every piece we make is a complete one-of-a-kind.
